In a presentation entitled "Asia Outbound M&A and Capital Sourcing Buy-Side Services," Mr. Kinsella and Mr. Filler offered conference attendees an overview of U.S.-based middle-market companies (annual revenues ranging from US$25 to $150 million), with a focus on the process of how Chinese, Indian, Japanese and other Asian businesses can identify and pursue businesses that offer attractive investment targets. The discussion featured an in-depth analysis of two "real-world" acquisition efforts in which Kinsella Group is now actively serving clients: first, the search, by a privately owned Indian manufacturer of plastic injection-molding components, for a similar North American acquisition target; and second, Kinsella Group's representation of a privately owned Chinese company (with public shareholders on the U.S. NASDAQ market) that manufactures air-brake system components and which is interested in expanding the distribution network for its China-made products through the acquisition of North American regional distributors.
